AMENITIES
With an emphasis on quiet relaxation and the enjoyment of wildlife, Elkwood Campground offers a number of amenities to those who visit our grounds. Our facilities are clean, safe, and secure as only a private campground can offer. See below for more details.

GENERAL STORE
Stop in our general store for those items you may have forgotten such as snacks, bug spray, laundry products and more. We also carry gifts made by local artists and our campers! If you need propane, we have a tank right outside.
NATURE TRAILS
Take a hike or a run through our nature trails. Enjoy wild flowers, many types of berries, and the beautiful aspen groves we are known for. You never know what kind of wildlife you may encounter. You might just get lucky and spot an elk!
LARGE PAVILION
Located on a wooded hill, our pavilion is the perfect spot for a large family gathering, celebrations, or simply a shaded place to picnic and play games.
SWIMMING POOL
Cool off in our clean 30 x 50 ft pool located by the general store. Deep end is 9 ft deep, shallow end is 3 ft. Children 14 or under must be accompanied by an Adult. No life guard is on duty.

BATH HOUSE
Our bathhouse is always neat and clean with plenty of hot water for a shower. If you forget soap, shampoo, tooth paste, you can always find these items in our store at the campground.
LAUNDRY
Need to wash those dirty towels after spending the day tubing or kayaking? We have a clean laundry room located at the bath house. Coin Washer and Dryer available. Laundry soap and dryer sheets available at the campground store.
FIREWOOD
We always have firewood for purchase throughout your stay. Make a fire, invite your neighbors, look at the stars, and listen to the elk bugle and the coyotes howl.
PLAYGROUND
We have an old fashioned playground for kids to enjoy! Complete with a merry go-round and slide, we also have a basketball hoop and volleyball net. Adjacent is a large meadow that's perfect for kickball.
PLEASE NOTE!
Elkwood Campground loves dogs and we are extremely dog-friendly. That being said, we do have a few rules:
Ensure your dog is a friendly, well-behaved (quiet!) animal.
Keep them on a leash at all times.
Do not leave them alone in your RV or campsite.
Clean up after them.
RESERVATION POLICIES:
*A CC# is required for all reservations. A non-refundable one night deposit per site (TWO night deposit per site during holidays)
will be applied towards your stay. A two night minimum stay is required for weekends and holidays.
*Any lot left with trash or a mess in the fire ring will be charged an additional $15 for clean up.
*ALL RENTALS: A $100 security deposit is required upon arrival.
This will be refunded after your stay unless damage has been done, items are missing, or excess clean-up is needed.
CANCELLATION POLICIES:
If you cancel less than 72 hours ahead of your reservation or are a no-show, you will be charged for the FULL stay of your reservation.
Incomplete stays will not be refunded.
